Biography:
Yu Wang is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Chongqing University, Deputy Academic Director of the State Key Laboratory of Power Transmission and Transformation Equipment Technology, and has been selected for the National Youth Talent Program. He received his PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and formerly worked as a Marie Curie Research Fellow at Imperial College London.He is an editorial board member of journals includingIEEE Transactions on Smart Grid,Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy, andIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution. He has presided over scientific and technological projects such as the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chongqing Municipal Special Fund projects, and guideline projects of State Grid Corporation of China.His research focuses on power system operation and control and smart microgrids. He has published more than 100 SCI/EI-indexed papers in related fields, with over 5,000 cumulative citations.
